cause blinded i am blindsided.

being in love when you’re parents have recently separated is difficult. you can’t help but think to yourself “are we going to last?” or “will he stop loving me one day?” .  luckily those thoughts don’t come to mind as often anymore. I miss seeing my dad all the time but i’m glad he’s still in my life. I know I can’t let what happened with my parents impact my relationship and I won’t. i know he loves and respects me. i’m probably more optimistic about love more than i have ever been in my life.
